Originally from Kent in the UK, Alice obtained her Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) degree from King’s College London. Once qualified, she worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in a variety of specialities across the major London hospitals. She was able to gain experience in treating both acute and chronic conditions.
From this, Alice showed a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions and went on to work as a senior outpatient physiotherapist in the NHS alongside working in a private clinic running evening sessions.
Her passion lies in sports rehabilitation. Alice has worked with Wellington and National Hockey teams providing field side assistance and sports-related rehabilitation. She has attended a number of sports-related courses to further develop her skills in this area.
Having completed two marathons, Alice has had first-hand experience of sports-related injuries, the impact it has on training and the need for effective rehabilitation to aid return.
Alice has continued to develop her skill-set in New Zealand and has already added dry needling and LGBTQI+ training to her physio tool belt.
Alice is excited to continue developing her career in New Zealand and embrace the kiwi lifestyle whilst in Wellington.
